What's New at Winside Public School? Elementary Theme Night Mark your calendars! Monday April 20th
will be the Elementary Theme Night. Each classroom has chosen a
theme for the evening and the students have been working hard to get
everything ready.
So be sure to come and walk around all the classrooms to see their hard work. Time: 7:00 to 8:00 pm
Atomic
Learning is Now Available to Everyone at Winside Public School "Atomic
Learning (www.AtomicLearning.com)
provides
innovative training tutorials on over 110 of the most commonly used
software
applications and other technology resources and is available 24 hours a
day,
seven days a week. Atomic Learning helps faculty, staff, students and
students’
families quickly and easily learn about technology whenever and
wherever they
like. It's perfect for classroom training, faculty and staff
development and
for individuals learning at their own pace. The Atomic Learning library
includes short, step-by-step instructions on applications such as
Microsoft
Office, Adobe products, Texas Instruments calculators and new
technology such
as blogging, to name just a few examples." Any
parent of Winside students wishing to have access to Atomic Learning
may call
the school for the login name and password. That
information is posted in the classrooms at the high
school so
students can also bring that information home for their parents. This is a great way to learn new programs or
to brush up on programs you already use. You
might be surprised at some of the things you didn’t
know were
